LouAnn Shepard Muhm, author of Dear Immovable, will also be in the lineup, reading from her new book, Breaking the Glass, so it should be a great night, folks!

Magers and Quinn, 3038 Hennepin Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55408 - 612-822-4611. This is a big one folks! If you're going to come to any of Diana's April readings, make this the one. She is reading for an entire half hour so you'll get to hear quite a few jewels from her collection as well as new poems she's never before read publically. Also in the lineup that evening will be Mary Kay Rummel, a professor emerita from the University of Minnesota who is also an esteemed poet and author of four books of poetry. It should be a spectacular night. Please don’t miss it!

Coming this month... Falling Star Magazine has accepted Diana's short story, "Door to Door" for their next issue which should be out in stores shortly. This issue of Falling Star will appear at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at UCLA on April 26 and 27th, as well as, at various events in London and Paris in May. If you haven't already picked up a copy of Awaking Indigo, here's your chance: Bloomington Art Center Writers' Festival and Book Fair, April 5, 2008 (1800 W Old Shakopee Rd, Bloomington), featuring Faith Sullivan as keynote speaker at 9:30. Diana will have a table set up where she will be giving book signings. Also at 11:30 A.M she'll be giving a reading that will be filmed for Cable Access Television. Yes, Diana will finally have her 15 minutes of fame! So please come and watch the reading. And heck, how often do you get to hang out and chat with an author? She'd love to see you there!

Diana is in the spotlight on What Light: This Week's Poem selected by Jen March. What Light is a contest that showcases local poets and a diferent poet is selected to appear each week. To read Diana's winning poem, "Small Consolation" or her thoughts on poetics, go to www.mnartists.org or www.magersandquinn.com. There will be a reading at Magers and Quinn on March 30th which Diana will not be able to attend, however, she strongly encourages people to go and cheer on the other March and April winners: Amy McCann, Jen Johnson, Tim Brennan, Adrian S. Potter, Florence Dacey, Jana Bouma, Molly Spencer and Steve Downing.

Tune into KFAI Radio (90.3 FM in Minneapolis and 106.7 FM in St. Paul) at 10:30 AM for the Write on Radio program where Diana (and other Northography authors) will be reading selected poems from their books. This event is in promotion of the Northography reading on October 26 at Opposable Thumbs and will also feature an interview.
